Southmont has won five straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Greencastle has won five straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The two teams will face off at 7:30 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Southmont knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Greencastle likes a good challenge.

If Southmont beats Greencastle with 72 points on Saturday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Southmont managed a 72-66 victory over Danville on Friday. While the Mounties didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Greencastle didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against South Putnam on Friday, but they still walked away with a 56-50 win.

Greencastle's win came from a few key players Southmont will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Sam Gooch, who went 6 for 9 on his way to 16 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Sutherlin, who posted 15 points.

Southmont's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Greencastle, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
