Basketball Recap: Sinton Comes Up Short

Sinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 66-44 to the Boerne-Champion Chargers. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1438th, while the Chargers are ranked 56th).

Sinton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Boerne-Champion, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4.

Sinton will take on Victoria East at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boerne-Champion, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 76-33 victory against Lytle on the 28th.
