Baseball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Indiana Little Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Little Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 on Monday.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Indiana, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-1.

Looking ahead, Valley will host Freeport at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Indiana, they are taking a road trip to challenge DuBois at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Little Indians 2.1, the Beavers 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
