Baseball Recap: Marysville-Pilchuck Drops Season-High Score on Granite Falls

Marysville-Pilchuck was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 7-3 to the Granite Falls Tigers. On the bright side, the three- run effort marked the Tomahawks' highest-scoring match to date.

Marysville-Pilchuck saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Donavan Faulkner, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Faulkner hit this season.

Marysville-Pilchuck's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Granite Falls, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Marysville-Pilchuck will head out to take on Shorecrest at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Granite Falls, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against University Prep at 4:00 p.m.
