Volleyball Recap: Northern Nash Knights vs. Bunn Wildcats

After losing to Bunn the last time they met, Northern Nash decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Northern Nash Knights walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bunn Wildcats on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Northern Nash had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-18, 27-25, 25-21.

Northern Nash got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maylee Garner out in front who had 14 digs, a kill, and 44 assists. Garner is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 25 or more in the last seven games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Piper Jones, who had 29 digs.
