Baseball Recap: Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Takes a Loss

Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin lost against Westville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 4-3. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

CHAZ DUBOIS and CRUZ DUBOIS stepped up to the plate in a big way. CHAZ went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while CRUZ went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. That triple marked the first that CHAZ has hit this season.

Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Westville, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin will challenge Centennial at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Chargers have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Westville, they will square off against LeRoy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
