Baseball Recap: Chiles Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Chiles was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell 6-1 to the Lincoln Trojans. If the Timberwolves were looking for revenge after losing 5-2 to the Trojans when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chiles saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Lawson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Chiles now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Lincoln, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chiles will square off against Leon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Leon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season. As for Lincoln, they will take on Mosley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln is facing Mosley at the right time seeing as Mosley is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
