Volleyball Recap: Yreka Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Yreka lost against University Prep back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Miners came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16, 25-19.

Yreka's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for University Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Yreka will face off against rival West Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, University Prep is set to square off against their familiar foe Lassen at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
