Basketball Game Preview: Orange Park Raiders vs. Ribault Trojans

The Orange Park Raiders will venture away from home to face off against the Ribault Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Orange Park is headed into the game having just posted their closest win since January 15th last Friday. They skirted past Bartram Trail 62-59. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ribault). They walked away with an 81-71 victory over First Coast on Tuesday. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Ribault's win came from a few key players Orange Park will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ian Beaufort, who posted 21 points. Zion Hall was another key player, going 6-for-11 on his way to 15 points.

Orange Park's record now sits at 2-0. As for Ribault, their record is now 3-1.

Orange Park couldn't quite finish off Ribault when the teams last played back in December of 2022 and fell 43-41. Thankfully for the Raiders, Caleb Williams (who shot 55% from the field to rack up 19 points and four steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
