Luverne hadn't done well against Redwood Valley recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Luverne sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Redwood Valley. This was a revenge game for Luverne: when they faced off against Redwood Valley back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Luverne is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season. As for Redwood Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.
