Basketball Recap: Athens Takes a Loss

Athens lost to Colon back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Indians were beaten by the Magi 74-21. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Athens has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Colon, their win bumped their record up to 15-4.

Looking ahead, Athens will head out on the road to challenge Camden-Frontier at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Colon, they will challenge St. Philip Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
