Basketball Recap: Columbus Skates Past Palacios with Ease

Columbus won the last time they faced Palacios and things went their way on Friday too. The Columbus Cardinals simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Palacios Sharks 76-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Grayson Rigdon went supernova for Columbus, dropping a double-double on 41 points and 15 boards. Another player making a difference was Brody Tribe, who posted eight points and eight rebounds.

Columbus' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Palacios, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Tidehaven the next time they take the court. Columbus will host Tidehaven at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while Palacios will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
