Volleyball Game Preview: San Marin Mustangs vs. Redwood Giants

San Marin is 0-6 against Redwood since March of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. The San Marin Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Redwood Giants at 5:30 p.m.

San Marin is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 22nd straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of San Rafael.

Meanwhile, Redwood had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Red Tailed Hawks by a score of 3-1.

Redwood was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 19-25, 25-13.

San Marin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Redwood, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2.
