While losing is never fun, the Blackhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 284th, while the Mustangs & Fillies are ranked 121st).

When it comes to explaining why Westville lost on Friday, don't look at Brian Jackson. Despite the final result, he shot 50% from the field on his way to 23 points. The contest was Jackson's 21st in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Dillon Walpole, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 19 points.

The loss snapped Westville's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-10 record. As for Kouts, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-4.

Westville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kouts, they have already played their next match, a 61-52 win against Washington Township on the 8th.
