Baseball Recap: Worthington Christian Comes Up Short

Worthington Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sissonville Indians.

Chase Crawford and Jameson Colley stepped up to the plate in a big way. Crawford scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Colley scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Beckett O'Neil was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Worthington Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sissonville, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Worthington Christian will host Tree of Life Christian at 11:00 a.m. on April 5. As for Sissonville, they will face off against Princeton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
