Football Recap: Forsyth Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 34 points the game before, Forsyth Central was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They took a blow against the Flowery Branch Falcons, falling 38-7. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Durham Roach threw for 46 yards on four of eight attempts. Dmarcus Staniclas was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards.

Flowery Branch had a senior duo take command as Griffin Harper gained 130 total yards and Brett Strum threw for 153 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes.

Forsyth Central is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Flowery Branch, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

After each having a week off, Forsyth Central and North Atlanta will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Flowery Branch, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 24-14 victory against Hart County on the 5th.
