Glencoe had won four straight games and Kinlee Montgomery did her part to make it five on Thursday. The Yellowjackets walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Sand Rock Wildcats for which the team can thank Montgomery, who had ten digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Glencoe took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15.

Glencoe's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Sand Rock, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Coincidentally, Glencoe and Sand Rock will both be playing Spring Garden the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will host the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Yellowjackets will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
