Basketball Game Preview: Milano Eagles vs. Granger Lions

Milano and Granger are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. Both will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Milano is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Thorndale just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They received a blow as they fell 39-21 to the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Granger had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 53-30 margin over the Bulldogs. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 23 points or more this season.

Granger's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Milano, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Milano was able to grind out a solid win over Granger in their previous matchup back in January, winning 48-36. Will Milano repeat their success, or does Granger have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
