Basketball Recap: Ridgedale Takes a Loss

Ridgedale lost against Elgin back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Ridgedale Rockets were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 44-43 to the Elgin Comets. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maycee Muselin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Elgin, almost dropping a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Muselin has scored at least a third of Elgin's points. Madison Hill was another key player, putting up three points and three steals.

Ridgedale's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Elgin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Ridgedale has already played their next contest (against Wynford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Elgin has already played their next match, a 48-33 victory against Highland on the 21st.
