Basketball Game Preview: Pepin/Alma vs. Eleva-Strum Cardinals

Pepin/Alma is 2-8 against Eleva-Strum since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Pepin/Alma will square off against the Eleva-Strum Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Tuesday, Pepin/Alma didn't have too much trouble with Augusta as they won 64-47.

Meanwhile, Eleva-Strum strolled past Whitehall with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 65-46.

Pepin/Alma has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Eleva-Strum, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4.

Pepin/Alma came up short against Eleva-Strum when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 65-61. Can Pepin/Alma avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
