Basketball Recap: McDermitt Gets the Win

While McDermitt has struggled on the road with six straight losses, that wasn't the case on Friday thanks to Shandon Camas. The McDermitt Bulldogs took down the Beaver Dam Diamondback 43-26 thanks in part to Camas, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 22 boards. Camas is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least 11 every time he's taken the court this season.

Another player making a difference was Dylan Palmer, who posted nine points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

The victory got McDermitt back to even at 2-2. As for Beaver Dam, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

McDermitt didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-28 win against Word of Life Christian Academy on the 13th. As for Beaver Dam, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 35-13 victory against Beatty on the 13th.
