Mauldin came into Thursday's contest looking for another win against Riverside, but Tanner Tumblin wouldn't allow it. The Warriors blew past the Mavericks 3-0 on Thursday thanks in part to Tumblin, who had 25 kills, six aces, three digs, and one block. He has been hot recently, having posted nine or more kills the last four times he's played.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-23, 26-24.
