Soccer Game Preview: Clayton-Ridge vs. Anamosa

The Clayton-Ridge Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Anamosa Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Clayton-Ridge is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They walked away with a 4-2 win over Charles City on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what Clayton-Ridge needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Anamosa was forced to settle for a draw. They and Prince of Peace Prep finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw on Monday.

Clayton-Ridge now has a winning record of 2-1-1. Anamosa's draw makes their record 2-1-1 this season.

Everything went Clayton-Ridge's way against Anamosa in their previous meeting back in April of 2021, as Clayton-Ridge made off with a 4-1 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
