Baseball Recap: Howe's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Howe). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Miller Grove Hornets a 21-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering the Bulldogs have won five matches by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Howe's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs over those games. As for Miller Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Howe will take on Tom Bean at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Howe's pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so Tom Bean's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Miller Grove, they will challenge Cooper at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
