Volleyball Recap: LBJ Austin Comes Up Short

LBJ Austin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the McCallum Knights, falling 3-0. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their loss to the Knights from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

LBJ Austin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for McCallum, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, LBJ Austin and Leander will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for McCallum, they will take on Northeast Early College at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
