Volleyball Game Preview: Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms vs. Lourdes Eagles

The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms will challenge the Lourdes Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 13 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Blooming Prairie and four for Lourdes.

On Thursday, Blooming Prairie came up short against Randolph and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Lourdes lost 3-0 to Lake City on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered against the Tigers since October 12, 2021.

Lourdes' loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Blooming Prairie, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.

Blooming Prairie beat Lourdes 3-1 in their previous meeting back in August of 2023. Do the Awesome Blossoms have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
