Narraguagus had already won seven in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Machias Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-12, 25-16.

Lola Worcester paced Narraguagus' offense, picking up 17 kills. Worcester got some help from Kaitlyn Grant and her 28 assists. Natalie Stanwood controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Narraguagus' win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Machias, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Narraguagus will take on Mount Desert Island at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Machias, they will face off against George Stevens Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
