After flying high against Wayne Memorial on Tuesday, Churchill came back down to earth. The Chargers came up short against the Northville Mustangs on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Chargers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-7, 25-13.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Allyson Leutheuser, who had four digs and two aces. What's more, Leutheuser racked up 11 assists, the most she's had over her last seven matchups.

Churchill now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Northville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Looking ahead, Churchill will challenge Okemos at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Northville, they will host Plymouth at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
