Game recap: Keyes runs for four touchdowns in North Hagerstown high school football team victory

Isaiah Keyes ran for four touchdowns to lift North Hagerstown (Hagerstown, Md.) to a 48-7 beat over Smithsburg (Md.). The scores gave the junior 11 touchdowns for the year.

The Hubs were up 42-7 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by Kyle Hewlett in the second quarter.

North Hagerstown expanded its lead to 41 points entering the fourth quarter. NH's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run by Keyes.

Hewlett and Keyes ran for a bunch of touchdowns for the Leopards.

Smithsburg's lone touchdown came on a 15-yard pass in the second quarter.



The Hagerstown school came in allowing an average of 19.5 points per game this season.

A 38-14 North Hagerstown victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.

Smithsburg (2-5) goes up against Clear Spring in a non-conference game matchup next week, while North Hagerstown (6-1) locks horns with Catoctin in a Monocacy Valley - Antietam game.
