Volleyball Recap: Antonian Prep Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Antonian Prep lost against Lake Travis back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Apaches fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 2-1.

Antonian Prep started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-22, 25-15.

Jordyn Daniels paced Antonian Prep's offense, picking up 11 kills. Daniels got some help from Camilla Serna and her 23 assists. Danica McGarity controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Antonian Prep's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-6. As for Lake Travis, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Antonian Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Colleyville Heritage on the 23rd. As for Lake Travis, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against New Braunfels on the 23rd.
