Football Recap: Carolina Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Carolina Academy extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 2-6. They took a blow against the Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers, falling 52-20. The Trojans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cavaliers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Jordyn Rice threw for 247 yards on 18 of 37 attempts. Kyleat Belcher was his top target, picking up 95 receiving yards.

As for Christ Church Episcopal, their record is now 6-2. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won three contests by 28 points or more so far this season.

Christ Church Episcopal's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Michael Martin II, who rushed for 93 yards and three TDs on only 12 carries. Martin II has been hot, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last seven times he's played. Jude Hall was in the mix too, providing Christ Church Episcopal with two touchdowns.
