Softball Recap: Marcellus Comes Up Short

Marcellus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-0 to the Centreville Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 on Monday.

Marcellus' defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Centreville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Marcellus will challenge Decatur at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season. As for Centreville, they will face off against Mendon at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
