Exeter had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They blew past the Strathmore Spartans 7-1. Considering the Monarchs have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Exeter's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Strathmore, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-3.

Exeter didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Avenal on the 31st. As for Strathmore, they have also already played their next game, a 7-4 loss against Sierra Pacific on the 30th.
