Baseball Recap: Sterling's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Sterling fell victim to West Deptford and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Silver Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Sterling saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Lomax, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Sterling moved to 17-6 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for West Deptford, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-9.

As of now, neither Sterling nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
