After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mundelein, Fairbanks was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Marshall Cardinals with a sharp 8-2 win.

Macy Kise spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.
