Powdersville piles up the points against Palmetto

Recap: Powdersville Patriots vs. Palmetto Mustangs

The Powdersville Patriots can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 64-34 win over Palmetto. Given Powdersville's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 21st, while Palmetto is ranked 231st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Powdersville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaleel McGee led the charge by scoring 12 points along with four steals. McGee hasn't dropped below three steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Caden Kreger, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

Powdersville has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for Palmetto, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-21.

Powdersville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Palmetto also has no future games currently scheduled.
