Basketball Recap: Jordan-Matthews Takes a Loss

Jordan-Matthews lost against Seaforth back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Jordan-Matthews Jets lost to the Seaforth Hawks on the road by a 63-48 margin.

Noah Lewis was a one-man wrecking crew for Seaforth as he posted 23 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. Those 23 points gave Lewis a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Emerson, who had 13 points.

Jordan-Matthews' loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Seaforth, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Cummings the next time they take the court. Jordan-Matthews will head out to face Cummings at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Seaforth will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th.
