Softball Recap: Kenston Sets Scoring Season-High Against St. Joseph Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kenston). They put the hurt on the St. Joseph Academy Jaguars with a sharp 16-10 win on Thursday. The Bombers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.

Kenston is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for St. Joseph Academy, they dropped their record down to 6-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Kenston will challenge Chagrin Falls at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Joseph Academy, they will take on Holy Name at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
