Preview: Geibel Catholic Gators vs. Cheswick Christian Academy
After two games on the road, Geibel Catholic is heading back home. They will take on Cheswick Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Geibel Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Geibel Catholic took a serious blow against Marion Center, falling 64-31.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Seth Dolan, who scored 13 points along with 4 steals. He scored a full 41.9% of Geibel Catholic's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Jellots, who scored 5 points.
Meanwhile, Cheswick Christian Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They took down Portersville Christian 60-42.
The losses dropped Geibel Catholic to 0-2 and Marion Center to 1-1.
