East Lake is a perfect 3-0 against Hollins since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will challenge the Royals at 7:00 p.m. East Lake will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

It was a Battle of the Birds when East Lake challenged Dunedin on Wednesday. The Eagles walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Falcons.

East Lake saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Milan Verma, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Hollins' good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against IMG Academy Black, falling 7-1. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Royals couldn't push the score so high this time.

East Lake's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Hollins, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.

East Lake was able to grind out a solid win over Hollins in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, winning 7-3. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Royals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
