Soccer Recap: Eastland Christian Falls Short Against Ranked Calvary Christian Academy

Eastland Christian faced Calvary Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Hurricanes fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2. Eastland Christian just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Kiefer Rivero and Lemuel Martinez scored both of Eastland Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Eastland Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7-1.

Coincidentally, Eastland Christian and Calvary Christian Academy will both be playing Liberty Christian Prep the next time they take the pitch. The Hurricanes will head out to face the Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
