San Marcos moved up to 438 from 534 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Channel. The Royals were able to make move up by besting Beverly Hills 49-14.

Buena fell to Saugus 45-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Noah Martinez was a bright spot for the Bulldogs, as he threw for 91 yards and ran for 77 yards in the defeat.

Ventura's dynamic duo of Steve Ledesma and Brice Winans proved to be unstoppable against Rio Mesa, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Ledesma threw for 191 yards and Winans had 72 yards receiving. Alex Hurlbut helped Ventura's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 61 yards.

The Cougars' dynamic duo of Ledesma and Winans proved tough for the Spartans to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Winans was the best receiver in the league this week as Ventura beat Rio Mesa.

Tyler Welch was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 244 yards on 19 carries as Dos Pueblos topped Bob Gregorchuk's team. Teammate Angel Davison added to the ground attack by rushing for 55 yards.

Ledesma put up the best numbers in passing as the Cougars defeated the Spartans.

Welch was a passing and rushing force as the Chargers bested Cabrillo. Welch's favorite target this week was Leshon Bell, who caught 3 passes for 53 yards.

Welch was a force in the backfield as Dos Pueblos beat the Conquistadores.

6-foot-5 quarterback Ledesma of Ventura is the league leader in passing yards this season with 564. He has also thrown 3 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Blayne Bennett. The Buena star has 9 catches for 138 yards.

San Marcos led Channel in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on the Normans.
