Daunte Bell gave up the fewest walks he has since back in April of 2024 on Friday. He was dynamite, striking out 11 batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit (and not a single walk). He is becoming a predictor of Millikan's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Coming up, Bell and Millikan are taking a road trip to square off against Trabuco Hills at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Bell's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Millikan's seven-game streak of wins at home.
