Wylie came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Garland Owls to the tune of 61-32. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Garland lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Caleb Ibeneme, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Kaden James, who had eight points.

Wylie is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Garland, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Wylie will welcome The Colony at 2:00 p.m. on December 26th. As for Garland, they will head out to take on Lakeview Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
