Volleyball Recap: Advanced Math & Science Academy Gets the Win + How To Watch

After losing to Sutton the last time they met, Advanced Math & Science Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles came out on top against the Sammies/Suzies by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Advanced Math & Science Academy got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-22, 24-26, 30-28.

Guil Yost paced Advanced Math & Science Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Yost got some help from Luanna Falcao and her 41 assists. Falcao was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Advanced Math & Science Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Sutton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Advanced Math & Science Academy will face off against Marlborough at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sutton, they will head out to take on Millbury at 4:30 p.m. on the 24th.
