Matt Caldwell Game Report: vs Streamwood

While Elgin might've come up empty on Monday, Matt Caldwell wasn't going down without a fight. Caldwell pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits, which was good enough to set a new career-low in hits.

Even though Caldwell couldn't lead Elgin over Streamwood, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Maroons haven't beaten the Sabres recently, having gone 0-10 since April of 2022.
