Volleyball Game Preview: West Anchorage Eagles vs. Dimond Lynx + How To Watch

West Anchorage is 2-8 against Dimond since November of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Eagles will face off against the Lynx at 8:00 p.m.

West Anchorage came up short against Service on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

West Anchorage was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-12, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Dimond entered their tilt with Bartlett on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Golden Bears by a score of 3-1. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 28, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 21-25, 25-13.

Dimond's victory bumped their record up to 20-9-1. As for West Anchorage, their loss dropped their record down to 8-24-2.

West Anchorage couldn't quite get it done against Dimond when the teams last played back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
