After losing to Kings the last time they met, Mason decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Comets walked away with a 3-1 win over the Knights on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Comets.

Mason had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Kings still got an impressive performance from Kennady Horsley, who had 21 digs and one assist. Horsley is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Mason's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Kings, they moved to 18-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Mason does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kings, they will face off against St. Ursula Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
