Volleyball Game Preview: South Brunswick Cougars vs. West Bladen Knights

South Brunswick is a perfect 3-0 against West Bladen since August of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cougars will face off against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, South Brunswick made easy work of Fairmont and carried off a 3-0 win. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Golden Tornadoes recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

One reason for the win was South Brunswick's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20, 25-16.

Meanwhile, West Bladen posted their closest win since August 20th on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past South Columbus 3-2.

West Bladen's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for South Brunswick, their victory bumped their record up to 14-5.

Everything went South Brunswick's way against West Bladen when the teams last played two weeks ago, as South Brunswick made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
