Softball Recap: South Pasadena's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

Friday just wasn't the day for South Pasadena's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the La Canada Spartans on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

South Pasadena moved to 5-2 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for La Canada, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4-1 record this season.

South Pasadena has already played their next match, a 10-0 victory against Fairfax on the 22nd. As for La Canada, they will take on Granada Hills Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
